Snowdonia National Park
A quick check over by the welsh police and there sniffer dog and we continued on into the welsh mountains.
As you drive up the A5 from Bangor towards Betws-y-coed you really get a feeling of the size of these mountains. Houses in the valleys below are dwarfed by the steep sided mountains that just seamlesly disappear into the low lying hill fog. What a feeling to be here the rain lashing the wind whipping at you and a climb ahead of over 3000ft to the top of Snowdonias highest peak.
