Slieve Muck | Height:- 674m / 2,211ft | Summit Grid Ref:- 281,250
Only a short wee walk up to the top of Slieve Muck, you can either start from the far side of Spelga Dam reservoir (other side from the Dam itself) and go straight up the side or park in the car park on the Slievenaman Road (up from the Fofanny reservoir) and follow the rack up to the Mourne wall then up and over Carn Mountain to the top of Slieve Muck.
Not much to see up here very open and can be cold on a windy day .
There are some good views from the top over the Mournes, is best to go back the way you came as further along the top on the peninsular it gets very steep when trying to decend and can be dangerous when wet..
