The Mournes

A walkers paradise, mountains were ever you look, all within easy reach and right on your doorstep. As the song from Percy French says " Where the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea". After walking so many of these mountains you can easily see where he gained his inspiration. From the peaks of most of the summits in the mourne range the mountains decend steeply towards the irish sea below.
